Jennifer is a former fashion designer and nanny. She loves to provide children opportunities to learn and grow through art. She focuses on the exploration of texture, color, and the usability aspect of art. She’s also a fantastic cook!

Our Philosophy

Lots of love and enthusiasm... and trust your gut! Raising children isn’t easy but it can be very rewarding. Providing kids with a stimulating, encouraging, and fun atmosphere is our goal. We want to be silly and creative. We know how to maintain limits and be consistent. We eat healthy AND delicious food so that our tongues can be tickled and our bodies can protect themselves. Our home has become a place for families to meet and friendships to blossom. Our curriculum is rooted in the standards, but flexible enough to account for a change in the weather, an interesting tangent, or the whims of a child.

Damond taught middle school for 6 years in Oakland. He is also a musician who has played extensively in local venues. He is enthusiastic about sharing his love for music with children.
